Anyone know a world history book for this description?

World History is a survey course that examines civilization from its beginning to the late twentieth century. Emphasis in this course is placed on critical and evaluative thinking skills, essay writing and interpretation of primary and interpretive sources. I teach AP World History and I recently chose Bulliet's "The Earth and Its Peoples."  I also like Spielvogel's "World History."  -- It's a harder read than the Bulliet book.  You can order an old book from Amazon or Alibris or Barnes and Noble.  I'd get a used college version for cheap.

If you are looking for something to supplement your class reading, World History for Dummies is really good.
