Anyone know about DDTrac?

I was wondering if anyone has any useful information about DDTrac for keeping up with children's records and such? Can I reasonably request that the school pay for this as a part of tracking his IEP and behavioral problems?

  1. DDtrac is a good tool to allow schools to track IEP data and make that data available in real time to parents and other therapists working outside the school with the student.  I  have purchased DDtrac myself and have successfully gotten my son's school to use it to track all of the data for him.  I know it has been really helpful to us for keeping his home program coordinated with school.  I also know of several teachers that have purchased it to track data for one or more children  in their classrooms.  If good communication is important to you, I think it is certainly something you could ask your school to purchase for use with your child.  DDtrac is much less expensive than other items schools purchase for children's special education programs.
