Anyone know about Pompano Race Track Harness??

Question

Making a trip to Pompano/ Ft. Lauderdale.. Is Pompano worth taking my time to look at the card a few days in advance or just play slots with my wife....LOL,, I play Northfield and the Big M mostly,, but never play Pompano before... Just curious...

I have friends who have driven and trained horses there at one time and they all had good things to say about the facility and the fairly decent quality of racing. I would definitely check it out if I were fortunate enough to travel there.

I've been there once, it's okay.  Harness racing is not my thing, and the park is not in a good part of town.  But if you love harness, you should check it out if for no reason than to say you've been there.

I've never heard of Pompano in Viet Nam.

I've been there many times but not since the changes with the slots.  We always had a good time, but I will say that the favorites seemed to come in a lot so we never made much of a profit.

I used to race standardbreds and actually raced at Pompano Park.  It's a nice place and I've heard that they have made many great changes since they put the slots in.  I would check it out if you have the time!!

If you play Northfield, you'd be willing to bet on any tub of glue.

Pampano Park has better races  than Northfield. Go out and have a good time.
