Anyone know about Ukrainian men?

Can anyone tell me about them? My boyfriend is one and I find that he does not like to express his emotions if it means expressing vulnerability. He's sweet, funny, and so nice to me, but he doesn't seem to like doing things that fall into the typical romantic category (like verbal expressions of love or flowers). He doesn't like to say the words yet is very loving. Does this make sense to anyone who knows about Ukrainian men? Best way to handle it? I would like him to be a bit more romantic and expressive.

If he's not drinking like a sponge sucking liquid, that's a good start. Tho generalizing is not my style, I'd say Eastern European men are that way. But trust me, it's better to have a cocky man who is not into flowers than having an overly sensual evermore complimenting man who prick flowers up your nose everyday. But yes East European men are never the classical Casanova u'd have dreamt of
