ok so i had my baby june 30th of 2008 i had a c section my 3rd one. i also had my tubes tied then burnt. i had heavy bleeding during the first couple of weeks at my 1 month check up the doc asked if i was still bleeding i said no cuz i wasnt but i had discharge that was blood tinged and it was like thick( i know nasty but still) like a white color look sometimes clear. okay.... then it stopped and i didnt have anything for a couple more weeks okay it has been like 8 weeks. and now i am starting to bleed very light. should i be concerned or is this like my period thas jus cleaning my body out or what? my other c sections were different thats why i am concerned. i always jus bleed for 4 weeks then it stopped then like a 1 month or 2 later i started my period. what do u guys think? if it is my period am i aloud to wear tampons or what? i mean they say 4-6 weeks but i am afraid to even put one in yet plz need some advice

  1. i would suggest that you speak with your gyno. something might not be right. i had 2 c sections and this never happened. better call a doctor just to make sure that it's normal. better safe then sorry

  2. thinking back to my last c section i believe the same thing happened to me...i was bleeding for abour 4 weeks....maybe 5..went in for my 6 weeks check up and i wasnt bleeding..then a week or two later i started my period.  so i would say its your period...and since its been 8 weeks...using a tampon is fine because your allowed to go back to s*x after 6 weeks.   sorry i'm trying to think back..it was  years ago..  i'm having another c section in a few weeks so good question!  your getting my brain ready!

  3. Yes, it might be your period, dear! Dont panic, ask your doctor, he can check to make sure everything is fine. And for the first period after your pregnancy, just to be safe, use pads instead of tampons.

I had a c section for my twins and everything went just fine.

Good luck with your new baby!
