Anyone know about chinese symbols?

ok...instead of puttin the two side by side would it have the same meaning putting one on top of the other....for a tattoo on my neck so i would want it up and down instead of straight across

Your link doesn't work.

If it's 2 characters, then it is ok to put them side by side. The sequence would not matter. But if you want to put them one on top of another, then you have to make sure you get it in the correct sequence or you might end up with something that does not make sense or worse, something that does not mean what you intend.

Do see if you can re-link the image.

The link doesn't work, but yes, you can put different symbols either vertical or horizontal and it will mean the same thing.
