Anyone know about digital camera brands?

I had a Nikon Coolpix, but it didn't zoom very good. I went out and bought a Olympus Stylus. I was wondering if anyone knows how comparable the 2 brands are. I heard that Nikon was one of the best, but wondering if Olympus is comparable?

Nikon and Canon are the two best brands out there right now. Olympus is okay, but it doesn't compare to the Nikon like the Canon does.

It uses a different memory card ... xD and Nikon uses SD and SDHC memory cards.

You could have purchased a Nikon with a longer optical zoom ... changing cameras doesn't mean you have to change brands ...

Canon and Nikon are both the top brands for digital cameras. Olympus is up there too but not as great as the Nikon and Canon, but it really depends on model also. If you want, you can check out http://www.dpreview.com/ it's a great site that has tons of reviews on digital cameras, and you can also do side-to-side comparisons. There's also a "features search" option where you put it all the features you want and it'll help pick out the perfect camera for you.
