Anyone know about the Harford County detention Facility in MD.?

I am looking for information on an inmate in this jail in MD.I am in Florida and trying to get info. for a web site or anything that can tell me more about where my husband is.I know he is there,but when I call they don't give me any information...any help would be great...thank you

Let me see if I can help. There are several ways you can approach this problem.  

First, you should write a letter (not just call) to the Harford County Detention Facility.  I might even send it Certified Mail, but at least put it in writing.  State who you are, who the name of the prisoner (your husband) is, and how you can contact him.

If that doesn't work, see if you can get help from the State's Attorney's office.  If they put him in the detention facility, they have a record of it. Here is the name and number of the State's Attorney for the County.

Third, you might try calling or writing the office of the Chaplain at the detention center.  Ask them to help you.  They will certainly have a list of prisoners' names and access to them.

Finally, if your husband is in jail, he must have had a lawyer.  If he didn't hire his own lawyer, then the Public Defender's office must have represented him. You should be able to find out his status through the records in that office. The head of the PD's office in Harford County is Kelly Casper.
