Anyone know about the Qabal book 777?

Question

I thought it was an interesting title for a book, but can't find any explanation as to why it is called 777. The inside is confusing, just has a bunch of tables and such.

According to WIkipedia, Aleister Crowley derived it from a complex numerology scheme which describes a lightning flash or flaming sword descending down a Tree of Life, the sum of the values of the corresponding Hebrew letters equalling 777. It was calculated by assigning numbers to ten certain spheres of life or "sephira" within the tree and the 9 paths between them and adding up the numbers. Pretty deeply mystical stuff, none of which seems to make any sense to me.
