Anyone know about the town Marengo, IL?

Its a cute little town.  not much going on there.   but Woodstock, Crystal Lake & McHenry arn't  far and have some fun things to do. depending on what your looking for

Very small town in the middle of nowhere. If you need shopping, trains, or connections to the expessways this isn't the town for you.

For quiet, non congested roadways, farms, camping, water. this could be for you

It's a cool little town out by McHenry. It's far from Chicago so if you work in the city not a great place to live. There's a lot of lakes out there if your into boating at all, there's a thing called channel lakes thats like 7 lakes connected by these little channle waterways.

Seems like the people out there are pretty similar. People are into boating and motorcycles. Lots of pot smoking, laid back old hippy type people. Real cool place to live if that's yoru scene.
