Anyone know alot about spiders?

Im currently in british columbia right now...

And i was just wondering if you know of any spiders around here?

I was told they get widow's?

How high of a risk to get bitten?

Anything to calm fears?

Please help!!!!!! :/

  2. Widows are present in every continent on Earth aside from Antarctica. Fewer than 30 people have died from Widows in the past 50 years worldwide. The only other mildly dangerous spider you may encounter is the Mouse Spider, which, as far as I am aware, has no reported mortality rate.

    Furthermore, even if you ARE bitten, approximately 33% of bites are dry, or did not envenomate. One of the first signs of envenoming is cold lips and nausea.

    Spiders are generally more afraid of you than you are of them. Just stay out of their business and look into your shoes before putting them on if you're that worried.

    You'll be fine.
