Anyone know an easy recipe for chocolate chip cookies?

I would like to know what an easy recipe is, because where I live, I can't get baking powder or anything 'American' for your everyday chocolate chip recipe. Any one have any recipes? Thanks!

  1. 1/2 c of sugar

    1/2 c of packed brown sugar

    1 egg

    1tsp of vanilla

    1/3 cup of butter

    1/3 cup of shortening

    mix

    add in separate bowl

    1 cup and 1/2 of flour

    1/2 tsp. of baking soda

    1/2 tsp. of salt

    blend and add to wet batter

    then add 10 to 11 ounces of milk chocolate chips

    spoon out teaspoons onto ungreased sheet and bake in a pre-heated oven at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes


  2. Where are you?  They should have some equivalent to baking powder or baking soda.  It's not exactly an American invention.  Try looking for a translation for "sodium bicarbonate".  That's the same thing as baking soda.

    Here's a couple of recipes that might work for you:

    EASY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

    1 box white cake mix

    1/2 c. oil

    2 tbsp. water

    2 eggs

    1 (6 oz. or 12 oz.) bag chocolate chips

    Mix ingredients together by hand until completely moistened. Drop by tablespoon onto cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

    EASY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

    2 c. flour

    1 1/2 c. sugar

    1/2 bag chocolate chips (small)

    2 sticks butter, melted

    2 eggs

    Combine ingredients, mix well. Grease cookie sheet. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spoon-drop or roll out cookies, put in pan and bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
