Anyone know an inexpensive B&B in Cornwall?

Question

Ive stayed at hotels there costing £70 a night and those are the budget ones! Does anyone know of any b&bs that are cheap? I dont care about breakfast, wifi etc, just a room to sleep in.

I usually recommend farmhouse bed and breakfast. The trade is quite competitive, especially in some of the more densely populated areas near the coast, which keeps prices down. I wouldn't pay more than £30 a night in Cornwall.

Have you decided what area you wish to visit? I would suggest contact the local tourist office. Staff usually can supply lists of B&Bs in the area.

Have you tried the travelling lodges? Much cheaper, if you can get a room. There's a new one in St Austell, which is about central for all parts of Cornwall.
