Anyone know any DVD burning softwares that work on DVD players?

I bought this new Memorex DVD recorder, and downloaded this software called Nero StartSmart Essentials.

Whenever I'd burn a DVD it wouldn't work on a DVD player, just the computer

So, if anyone knows a software that can have these DVD's work on a DVD player.... tell me

p.s. It's not the CD's... I used every type of CD out there (DVD-R, DVD R, DVD-RW...)

  1. its not about the software or disk ..its because your dvd player maybe doesnt read burning dvd's. There are players that cant read them.

  2. If your player is newer than 5yrs old it should play burned dvds. I like to use "dvd shrink" and "decrypter" which allows you to compress a long movie into one disc. Make sure to make all your copies as a region 1 disc. This will make it playable on just about any dvd player. Some people strip the region code out of the copy and sometimes this causes problems mostly with namebrand players like sony, toshiba, etc.

  3. Total Video2Dvd can help you convert movies to dvd simply and directly, work on any dvd player
