Anyone know any answers...to do with contraception!!?

ok right this sounds really horrible and i hate the fact im in this situation!

but.. im normally on the 3month jab in ur bum for contraception, but i was late having it done, and so i just had it done again recently, but im worried there is a small chance i am pregnant!

but if i was i knwo i would have an abortion because its not the right time for me!

so the horrible question is... me having the injection recently would that make me miss carry anyway? or would i still need to get an abortion? or will i be ok after i miss carry and then need to get my jab done again!!

help im really stuck! xx

I'm pretty sure you are talking about depo shots. It is unlikely that you are pregnant, people who come off the shots often can't conceive for a year afterwards. I doubt your own natural cycle had the chance to readjust itself properly. If it is very early in the pregnancy, the progesterone may make it more likely that you have a chemical abortion - you won't even know that you were pregnant, and it will just seem like a period. This is a common occurrence in nature, even for those trying to conceive and is nothing to worry about.

Either way, there is nothing you can do to remove the hormone from your bloodstream, so I would not stress yourself out over it.

Take a pregnancy test in about 2/3 weeks just in case, but I am sure you are fine.

Wow. Okay. Well I would suggest an over the counter preg. test just to be sure. Dont wait too long. And since you wont be getting your monthly with the Depo shot, you should get on that ASAP.
