  2. When I get bored with the clean up songs, I just play any familiar song and the room had to be clean by the time it was over.  It was like a race or game.  I would then get my "magic glasses" and walk around each center to see how clean the room was.

magic glasses can be huge oversized glasses, silly sunglasses, binoculars, etc.

sing:  sing I am loooking through my magic glasses, my magic glasses, my magic glasses, Iam looking through my magic glasses, to see if things are put away.

If the area is not clean, I might say I don't know if my magic glasses are working because I see a block on the floor, let me try to clean my glasses. ( As I pretend to fix my glasses a child usually runs over to pick up the block.) Ahh, now that's better, I am so glad I was able to fix my glasses.

  21. Nope.

  22. Seems like most of the answers are "catchy" fun type songs---NOT clean-up songs.

    Here is what I do:

    Hey, hey,

    Hey, hey,

    It's clean=up time today

Everybody help clean-up our room today.

    Then I go into:

I see ............picking up, picking up, picking up,

I see ............picking up in block area.

I also turn the lights off and use a flashlight and sing:

My little flashlight sees a toy, sees a toy, see a toy

My little flashlight sees a toy

    Who can pick it up?

I also make up my own songs and naturally can't remember them---my director seems to always pop in when I'm making up songs and wants me to write down the words.
