but if you keep going up past hunter valley to tamworth  you may stumble upon some other towns with good wine tasting tours

There is Hunter Valley, which is just over an hours drive outside Sydney.

Do an internet search for Hunter Valley, and I'm sure it'll come up with some tours from Sydney.

I'm assuming you want wine tasting tours that are cheap, and not tours for tasting cheap wine.  : )

They are all cheap (free) if you don't buy anything!

Depending on which state you are in and then if you have a designated driver or if you all want to actually pay for a bus/limo or something to drive you around.
