I don't need to find out how to train them to race, just need to learn the basics of horse training.

  1. Yep, you can find a GREAT one at the site below.

  2. The best I know And it's like my bible Is training horse and riders By ALOIS PODASKI   I spelled his name wrong!

But many people love his books

    Please look them up,

    They are about dressage'

But what he say's works for any style ridding

    He was a great man.

    and LOVED HIS HORSES

  3. Here are a few books which I think a successful trainer's library would not be complete without. I consider these a foundation in much more than training horses, but in teaching horses. To get from want to be trainer to beginner trainer and on to expert trainer, these are a must read! These are books you will want to read again and again, and you will most certainly reference them for help again and again. You will take what you learn from these masters and go on to discover and develop unique techniques that work best for you. I have little doubt that you will become an expert trainer after studying and applying what you learn from these masters. I wish you the best of success!
