  1. royal carribean is alittle bit cheaper than other cruise lines but it depends what kind of people you want on the cruise or what quality

  2. Well, how much fun you will have can depend greatly on the cruise line. I strongly recommend royal caribbean. by the way, dont take carnival even though its cheaper!

  3. To answer this question, you'll have to define what is your idea of a good price?  Remember, you get what you pay for.  It also depends on what you think is an enjoyable cruise.  What makes it enjoyable? The itinerary, the activities on board or on shore excursions, etc.?

You can find a really cheap cruise like Carnival - but you'll dealing with a lot of people who will end up drinking until they pass out or throw-up at random points around the ship.  NCL and Carnival both have serious service problems as well.

I'd also stay away from inside cabins.  If you go on a cruise you don't want to live in a dark closet - no windows means you never know if its day or night.

As long as you remember this an chose a cruise line that fits your budget, I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself.

  4. I've been on the disney cruise twice & both ships are identical. There isnt one dull moment of the day! Very very friendly staff, extremely great food, VERY clean & FUN. Alot of people said they liked Royal Caribbean, but before you consider it, there private island is in Haiti. & i've heard it's terrible to the point where many people dont even go on the island, they just  stay on the ship! Disney's island is so clean & pristine & relaxing! Also royal caribbean's food isnt that good either. my friends & i agreed on that. disney cruise has a heck lot BETTER food! Disney cruise might be a bit pricey, but it is deffinatly worth EVERY PENNEY. Although, if you do however choose royal caribbean, make sure you go on one of the newer ships, such as freedom of the seas. the older ships, even though they say are "refurbished" they really arent that great & they DONT have rock climbing, ice skating, or a surf pool or anything.

However, if your ideal vacation is paying really cheap price to drink alcohol everyday & have discusting entrees & no fun, your best bet is carnival.

when i was on a disney cruise, the spekers were blasting with music, & the carnival ship next to us, about to sail,  was DEAD. the people on carnival were actually dancing to the disney cruise's music! that's how bad it is! highly reccommend you do not choose that vacation. it's extremely decieving!!

So over all, i highly reccommend the disney cruise, & just because it's disney doesnt mean it's babyish or anything like that. they have SO MUCH for adults!

Hope this helped! Good luck! :)

  5. I like royal caribbean, good itineraries and prices. Inside cabins are the cheapest and a good deal if you don't plan to be in the room that often. My last cruise I had an inside promenade room, and loved it, nice size, cheap price and had a window that overlooked the promenade. A few times I just sat there and people watched and watched the different activities on the promenade.

  6. You would need to define your idea of enjoyable.  Your age, likes dislikes etc...would be helpful.  Do you want warm climates...3 day, 4 day, 5 day, 7 or more?

Carnival, as one poster mentioned has a history of being a party boat...but that isn't necessarily true anymore...If you choose a 3 or 4 day during a spring break...then yes it could be true...but it is the same way on other cruiselines that offer short cruises...Royal Caribbean for example...

To accurately answer the question, more information is needed....

If you want inexpensive...Carnival, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean ....(with a good sale)

If you want a little more upscale...Royal Caribbean...Princess, Celebrity...

If you want an older crowd...Holland America (in general)...Princess...etc...

    Good Luck,

  7. Having looked up your profile I get the feeling you are in you late 20's early 30's. If that is the case then I would suggest you use Carnival Cruise Lines. The poster who suggested there is non stop partying and young people "puking" all over the place is grossly mistaken. I have been on 5 Carnival cruises and have never found that to be the case. It is generally a younger crowd so there will be partying and activities on the Lido deck geared toward that crowd. (People my age, late 40's early 50's were just as involved in these activities as there 20 something counterparts) The pricing will be the least expensive of all the major cruise lines and the ports will be identical. Whether you want to spend the additonal money for an ocean view cabin is up to you and will depend upon how much time you actually plan on spending in the cabin. It will also depend on who you are going with. The interior cabins will be slightly smaller and have only artificial light. I personally would never get one. I would also spend the extra money for the balcony cabins. I just took all my children on a seven day cruise on the Carnival Triumph, they are all early 20's and they had a great time, so much so that they are all planning another one for next year. I thought it was the least enjoyable cruises I have taken but then I have a point of comparison and they don't. So if this is your first cruise just be sure to read your newsletter so you know what is going on then go out and enjoy yourself. If you would like some suggestions, if you are coming from the Western US try the Carnival Conquest out of Galveston and if you are in the East try the Carnival Glory out of Port Canaveral. Both are 7 day cruise and very reasonably priced. (Western Caribbean will be less xpensive than Eastern Carribbean) Enjoy.
