Anyone know any good headphones (over the head) that cancel out noise, have high volume etc?

Basically i'm going on holiday to Australia and it'll be a long journey on the plane over there, i'm from the UK.

Does anyone know any headphones (over the head type or right over your ears) that have good noise cancelling, high volume capability and look cool, if so, anyone got any recommendations???

The Bose quiet comfort headsets are the best in this category.  Say what you will about their speakers, but the are the headset of choice for pilots in aviation, and the have taken the technology down to some consumer models.
