I'm looking into moving from Maine to California and I was wondering if anyone knew of any nice, small boarding stables around the San Diego area? I'm looking for a quiet little farm for my 24 year old Appaloosa to hang out at, someone's personal farm that has just a couple boarders would be preferable. I don't really want to have to put him at a large boarding stable with too many other horses and people, he just needs a nice retirement home! Thanks for any info!

  1. I have a friend who lives in Alpine and has Two Horse and would like some help with them. We were thinking of trying to find someone who needs to board their horse and not really charge. But if you are interested. Please Email me at SugarFox7@gmail.com. Hope this helps

  5. Check out therockinlranch.com. Its in dehesa and the facility and the low number of people are amazing!

  6. We have a boarding facility located on 5 acres in Dehesa. We have a 2 pastures where our horses hang out all day we have only 5 horses so its very small. We are currently charging 265 and with that you get feeding 2X a day bermuda grass and orchard/alfalfa mix. We clean the pastures 2 times a day and fill and clean waters daily. If you are interested please feel free to contact me at sol_bassoff@yahoo.com with any further questions.
