She's quite particular about eating in meat serving establishments, but on this occasion there will be several other people dining who will feel cheated without a dead animal on their plate (myself included).

There are a couple of Thai/Chinese type places that are just vegi, I know there is one on goodge st just up the road and I think there is a vegi place on wardour st or around wardour, failing that take them to Dans Le Noir its run by blind people and you eat totally in the dark .. they wouldn't see what they were eating!!! just kidding they do have a vegi menu there and its something different. Ooo and a really good bar for afters is the crazy bear on whitfield st by the transport police station, I was really impressed being taken there on a date.. make sure you use the loo there! good luck and have fun x*x

  5. in soho, you can go to itsu which is like a european-ised version of sushi and its classy but not expensive... there is an excellent range of vegetarians options, seafood and meat without being complicated and you can get hot stuff too. it has great drinks too and can say that all of it is absolutely delicious- i go there all the time(am a veggie and my boyfriend a real meat eater) so can't go wrong.  altenaltively wagammammas is great for both on lexington street as is busaba etai on wardour street ( modern se asian). pulcinella is yummy italian on old compton street with enough range for everyone to be happy/great pizza-pasta as is the cafe espanol a couple doors down-great tapas. also brand new restaurant called tamarai on drury lane with late night bar and dancing, has pan-asian food with excellent food, wine, drinks but for a special night.................

all these are great- i eat there with friends who are non veg and we are always all satisfied so have fun!!

  6. I'm afraid I can't answer your question directly. I will say, however, that I once saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand walking through the streets of Soho in the rain. Apparently, he was looking for a place called Lee Ho Fook's, and he intended to get himself a big dish of beef chow mein.

Now, I realize that a big dish of beef chow mein does not suit your criteria. However, you might check with Mr. Fook to see whether he offers some vegetarian selections.

    Ta ta for now...
