You can try and find Resident Evil: Code Veronica, only if you're used to the tank movement of the old Resident Evil game.

Definitely go for the Onimusha series. They have zombies and monsters in a feudal Japan era, and instead of shooting them down, you basically slice them to shreds.

They're not exactly zombie games, but you can try the Silent Hill series, since they have some freaky monsters that can count as zombies. Fatal Frame also has ghosts, and they will surely freak you out at times.
