Anyone know any good singles cruise lines?

We have only been on one cruise and chose the Oriana (September) because we felt that the other passengers would be more of our generation.

Obviously there weren't many youngsters at that time - all back at school or College - but it was noticeable just how much effort was made for singles.  There were special parties right at the start just for people travelling alone so that they could make friends more easily and we spoke to one young lady on a shore trip who said that she would recommend a cruise liner above most other holidays for getting to know people.  This was her third!

Just do some reading before you choose and book your shipping line - some are marvellous for families with lots of young children, others more sedate.  Pick the right ship and destination and I'm sure you will have as great a time as we had.

I used to do this for a living, (run singles cruises) and in my opinion depending on your age bracket, Carnival is probably the one for you-- I liked them the best--

All cruise lines are good for singles who want to meet new people. The best for people who want to party and have a good time is Carnival.  Remember that if you do want to go alone it is more expensive,as the cruise line you choose will charge you a hefty supplement for one person in a cabin.
