If you have any Usborne Books - a great supplemental resource for homeschoolers - you can use the Quicklinks website through the Usborne site.  http://www.ubah.com/g2687 .  They have learning activities for extended exploration of particular topics.  For example, you can dissect a heart virtually, find photos to print for reports, games to play - all educationa.  Follow the internet links in the books to find items related to that topic.  The sites are screened and updated all the time, so they are safe and timely.
