  1. They'd love the Old Cheshire Cheese on Fleet Street.

  2. Gordon's Wine Bar (the oldest wine bar in London) is right next to Charing Cross station down by the river. they have a great selection of cheeses and wines for a good price. It's a bit dark. They need to be ambulatory.

  3. The Cittie of York on Holborn is great, and really reasonably priced. It's big enough to get a seat in and doesn't usually have music. Hx

hmm another one would be  the Friend at Hand in Bloomsbury

    both really good

if you do go further afield try The Anchor Bankside, London SE1 9EF

  5. The Old Cheshire Cheese on fleet Street is very quaint...there is one almost opposite the High courts of Justice, but cant remember its name....the Black Friar is good as well.
