there are plenty at that price around the south pier end near the north pier it more hotels and they are costly

You won't get B&B for that, I suggest you start looking at hostels. B&Bs will *always* charge per room, not per person (you have it the wrong way round. For example, if they were charging £30 per night, that would be a per room rate so, if you were the sole occupant of a twin-bedded room, they'd charge you £60).

i don't think you will get any that cheap, this one i recommend, sherwood hotel (licensed)
