i have heard of one way to make them appear. you get something you cherish,something small. and put it in a shoe box and put it on the middle of the room it is in then you turn out the light and sit against the wall. don' say anything or do anything  if it is there it will come.if you are not shure if it was there look in box. it will be empty. But for me; the smart thing would be to 'Leave it Alone.'

There average spirit is either there or it is not... and there is no human being that can speak to the recent or ancient dead... It just can't be done........ And it is not a smart thing to do to call on spirits for a demonic spirit can show up and make your life a living h**l........................

I agree with kilroyma,

Ouija boards are never to be used because like he said, you may get a demon pretending to be your loved one.  Ghosts are not party favors and deserve to be treated with respect but there are  ways to find them.

Homes with a history such as a murder or suicide, tragedy seems to bring them.

Limestone, it seems to attract paranormal activity it either amplifies or absorbs emotions and so a home built on limestone has a chance.

Running water, a creek or river seems to do the same thing as limestone.

Mirrors tend to reflect them but again, it may not be who you ask for......

Incantations: This is not recommended because you need a circle of protection and if done wrong can be disastrous....

silver is known to attract ghosts, but you could also use a ouijja board or hold a seance.
