Anyone know any ways to persuade parents to get a horse?

I've been wanting one for years and I still have unsuccessfully persuaded my parents to get me a horse. I'm not spoilt and I'm being really realistic; we can have one, we have the money and time, and I know how to take care of one, but just that parents are saying no! Also, does anyone know any cheap tips to get a horse? Or anything relevant to this topic?

Well i'm having trouble persuading my parents getting me another hamster let alone a horse, lol! No offence, but I dont think you realise how much work, money and time you need to put in to care for a horse, you have to clean and brush them, provide them with hay which is expensive, have enough land for it to excersise, get a stable which is very expensive AND take it to the vet for health checks which can sometimes cost over 300 pounds/dollars if it needs an injection etc. Im really sorry, I know how it feels, when I was younger I always wanted a horse. Why dont you try asking for something like a cat or a dog? Hope this helped.
