Anyone know anything about Hair Loc Extensions?

Question

Are they cheaper, and less time consuming than hot or cold fusion techniques? Pro's or Con's?? And if you don't know anything other than "they'll damage your hair" don't answer. I'm looking for informed answers.

   2. How to grow dreadlocks is different than changing them to sisterlocks. Just like there are many different types of braids designs and braid styles-i.e. French braids, invisible braids, individual braids, black braids, braid extensions, etc. Dreds have many varieties as well. Dread extensions, dreadlock wax, dreadlock wigs, sew-in dreadlocks, sisterlocks, etc.

   3. Dreadlock care is different for each style of dreads that are adorned. Dreadlock products, dreadlock shampoo, dreadlock removal, dreadlock conditioning and dreadlock hair oil must all be used in order to maintain healthy locs.

   4. If your dreads are splitting into two, rough, un-even, lumpy/dumpy or bunching together, try a dreadlock repair product

   5. Because ugly dreadlocks are unacceptable.

   6. Many women are considering sisterlocks due to esthetics and maintenance care. If your dreds we started by palm rolling or with kanekalon hair braiding, they can be changed into Sisterlocks. Using a take down cream is one way to safely and easily unravel each dreadlock and then go to a Sisterlock Technician to have all your hair re-locked with the sisterlock method.

   7. In fact, it takes anywhere from 10-20 minutes to remove each dread; depending on the length and thickness of your locs. Hair grooming, no matter how natural or gently the process can causes stress to your hair so take your time and use patience. The amount of time depends on the length and thickness of the loc.

   8. Even if your locks are young, The cream should soften the dreadlock and minimize breakage. Remember, your shredded hair is part of the loc. Therefore, when you unravel your dred, this hair will come out.

   9. There is also oil, shampoo or dust locked into your hair. This build up will come out too. Do your research well.

There are 2 kinds that I know of and I am sure more than that.  You can get what they call "silky dreads" they braid the hair and then they wrap the braid with the hair and the lock is shiny.  Nice but TIGHT as heck.  I have never had silky dreads.

Then there are lock extensions added on to real locks they can do this by twisting the hair to your own and using natural kinky hair that is roughed up and back combed and then palm rolled to give you ready made locks.  Honestly people will not knot it is the real deal if you don't tell.
