  1. You can go to Sports Authority or *****, where the have cheap golf clubs. Ask for a set that will fit a man 6'5". Hope this helps

  2. hard to find inexpesive clubs at this hieght . best idea would be to go to a major store , golftown etc . they have last years clubs on clerance at very good prices . they will help you custom fit clubs at no charge . just find good retailer . they will be glad to assit you . you purchase the clubs for your boyfriend . then for his birth day , you take him to the store to be custom fit . 2007 irons are running 199 to 299. with many choices in between . if this falls with in your price range . since retailers want to unload stock , they are open to a small reduction in cost . better way . ask for deal on golf balls etc . you may walk out with 3 wood for 40 dollars and a very good set of irons for 250 to 275 dollars . and you do have retailer in awkward position . they do have to unload stock . a cheap old guy like me has done this at least 5 times . on this site . got user 250 dollars refund . also 2 dozen golf balls , 2 hats and golf unberalla kind of chocked when he took my advice got the refund , just a thank you , a cap would have been nice , since it was callaway golf that refunded , and sent prmo items .

  3. its all preference, i would look at some mid priced taylor mades. great irons.

  4. Bridgestone Gravity Chamber Hybrid Club

The GC Hybrid utility clubs feature a Gravity Chamber in the sole of the clubhead, from which weight has been removed. Through Bridgestone Golfs proprietary C.A.D. process, 20 grams of weight has been repositioned by thinning out clubhead walls and the Gravity Chamber. The weight is then applied to two Gravity Weight Pads that are located internally in the sole on either side of the Gravity Chamber. The repositioning of the weight creates a center of gravity that is low and deep in the heel side of the club. The result is that the GC Hybrid is easier to hit high and draw.

  5. Easy!

    get custom built golf clubs.

    try this http://www.lindgolf.com

same quality as big brand... will much more lower price...

  6. What a wonderful idea.... Very thoughtful! First of all, golf clubs for a guy is like that perfect dress, pai of shoes, or accessories for a lady. No matter how much we try, we will never hit the nail of the head... we will pick something nice, but you will always want for something more. So.... take him shopping. As tall as he is, he will need custom clubs. Standard length will be way too short. Find a local golf club or retailer that specializes in golf equipment, a good suggestion if one is near is Edwin Watts Golf Store. They will be able to find clubs that suit his preference, and be custom fitted for him.  This will be a gift that keeps on giving... kind of like when he buys you lingerie :)

    You are very thoughtful...

  7. Go to a golf supply store whch carries several brands of clubs or even Sports Authority or Wal-Mart. Say" Let's go shopping . You need some golf clubs. " The store will fit his 6'5"frame . I would try the golf store first.

  8. try adams or nickent. If you can push your budget further, surprise him with a Callaway or Taylormade!

How i wish my wife could buy me some golf stuffs....all i get from her is "d**n the bloody greens".......

  9. go to a sporting goods store and buy him steel hogan apex irons. they are the best
