Anyone know anything about medicaid share of cost?

I am 4 months pregnant and was approved for share of cost but not regular medicaid. It said that my share of cost is 3000 which is my total monthly income. *actually more than what I bring home each month* does that mean I am responsible to pay 3000 a month before they will pay anything? That would only be any good for the birth that wouldn't help at all with prenatal care correct?

That's going to be state specific to your state, which you don't state.  

But the information on how the program works, should be on your state medicaid website.
