I dunno its pretty scary and really addicting. Even if its fake or not if you and your friends start playing it gets hard to stop.

But I own one and play it every time one of my friends stays the night. Its the coolest thing ever! You can ask it anything you want from "Where will I go to collage?" to "Who does Vinny like?" And you can also ask for certain people. I talk to family members that have passed away. And I talked to King Tut! It was wicked awesome!! I also talked to God, which sent shivers down my spin. He said "Go to sleep" lol that's because it was really late at night. But I learned so much stuff from the Oujia! Did you know there are 3 heavens? And we asked what happened after the 3rd heaven and God said "Love." How awesome is that!?!

Some people will tell you they are bad. Some people will warn you to stay away from them. Your parents may not like them. My friends parents don't want their kids coming over my house if we are going to play it. But they are safe. My only tip is: DON'T PLAY IT ALONE!!!!!!  I've heard (and God told me it was true) that if you play it alone you'll get possessed by the spirt you are talking to.

Oh! One time we asked them where and they said "Sitting on your bed." How freaky is that!!??!!

started out as a pegan way to contact spirits.  they were originally blessed by religious figures to protect the users and open the door way to the other side.  requires users to place hands on a pointer.  spirits allegedly move the pointer to reveal their messages.  when asked a question, the spirits would answer through the message board.  after it's commercial release by parker brothers, the board was no longer made of wood but cardboard and the pointer made of plastic.
