  1. Peanut butter is a non newtonian fluid which like quicksand increases its viscosity dramatically under rapid movement becoming nearly solid under impact. That property could be used in a shock absorber.


  2. Not a good choice as a shock absorber. Penut Butter is a kind of fluid. Fluids are incompressible and so make poor shock absorbers. It is viscous though and so cound be used in some configurations as a drag inducer.

    Good shock absorbing materials are foams, think of meringue if you need to use food!
