  1. It all depends on what in are into. Where you are staying there is a pretty cool bar called scruffys and there is also a nightclub called the cript beside it. There is also a night club a couple uo doors down called mc sorleys, thats where the young people seem to go and they also have a bar down stairs which is very lively. There are so many bars in Killarney and al sorts of people are in them.Cortneys is also another good bar.If you are not from lreland then l would recommend going to the Grand, it's a night club and a bar, full of farmers on the pull though.lots of shopping all depends on your budget. l love mc bees, but the woolen mills is pretty good, has all the latest brands.hope you have a grand time as l believe Killarney is the best place in the world.

  2. Its nice.  I was there after a 11 hour drive from Dublin!

Keep in mind that Killarney is still a small town.  Many shops are small, family-owned shops. I went there to get away from all the huslte and bustle of Dublin.

Outside Killarney, in Fairhill, there is an outlet centre.  The Killarney Outlet Centre is located east of the town on the N22 and N21.  The stores there include: Build a bear store, Claire's accessories, Blarney Woolen Mills, a Nike outlet, some clothing stores, jewellery stores and a entertainment store.

Killarney Towers is a nice hotel located right in town.  It is within walking distance of the town's sights.  The hotel is located on College Square and East Avenue Road.

The Towers Leisure centre has a gym, indoor pool, whirlpool and sauna.

It is located opposite the Cineplex in town.

The Towers has a nightclub (Crypt) and late bar.  The Crypt in Killarney is a hot spot for the young of Kerry.  It is about 10 euro in.  Some other clubs and latebars in town include: Failte, the Venue and McSorley's (young crowd 18-30s).
