Anyone know anything about the industry of Ecuador?

I'll post this twice since the Ecuador category is so small.

I already searched, but only found some long report; I only need a summary if anyone can find anything.

Ecuador has substantial petroleum resources, which have accounted for 40% of the country's export earnings and one-fourth of central government budget revenues in recent years.

Also, bananas and tourism are big industries for hard currency receipts.  As the country is dollarized, that is vital to maintaining a sufficient money supply.

Locally, the banking industry is quite big.  They have also had privatizations of the telecommunincations, but that independence will be under threat from a Chavez ally recently elected President (Correa)
