Anyone know anything about the ship queen mary who sailed in 1940?

We would like to know if we can get hold of a passenger list dated in 1940..hopefully with my grandmothers name listed....anyone know where we could go, and get some information....it would be nice to see her name listed in black and white........

  1. I know it's in Long Beach California, I know it weighs "80,000 Ton's". As a child living on Long Island, I would always present a good arguement for why I should have a small row boat, it was always answered with this.


  2. This is Aaron de Giorgio from Malta. Queen Mary was an enormous liner, I believe owned by Cunard Lines.  Cunard are still around, and in fact there are two modern liners, Queen Elizabeth II (QE2) and the Queen Mary which grace the oceans these days.  You should be able to find the Cunard website easily.

  3. try the library where they keep the old newspapers, since  it happened a long long time ago.
