Anyone know anything good to add to ramen noodle soup?

I know it's only like 30 cents so I'm not expecting it to transform into a 5 star meal. I sometimes get bored and I don't feel like cooking and the packet is in the cupboard and I think "that sounds easy" and plus I like to use what I have in the kitchen so I don't go out and shop all the time. I am just putting this question out there in case anyone has any hints. Oh and I was hoping for something other than add veggies or meat cause I already know about those.

  3. I love grilled spam and green onions. I also used to drain the juice and add a can of Dennison's Chili with Beans. Or you can take all the noodles out (set aside) and scramble an egg put it in the broth and cook it for a while then add the noodles.

I may have to read some of those myself when I have more time!  I have a wonderful recipe for RAMEN CRUNCHY NOODLE SALAD, but it serves 12-15 and takes several ingredients and has to chill 2-4 hours, so I guess it won't meet your needs.  Sorry...maybe GOOGLE can help!

  7. My mom puts eggs. My daughter and I like it.

  8. Ramen makes the cheapest macaroni and cheese in the world. Add some American cheese slices or shredded cheese and mix in with the hot noodles. Ramen is also an awesome addition to cole slaw. Heres a recipe i like to make when camping. the ramen makes a great stirfry. You can also use ramen in the second recipe in place of the chow mein noodles.

  9. Add onion lemon and hot sauce

  10. What i used to do is take a kraft singles piece of cheese and stick it in the noodles when they're done(minus all the extra juice from the soup) and mix it in. Tasted pretty good :)

  11. At the very end of the soup's cooking time, I add one scrambled egg per package, slowly and while stirring, and then top with green onion tops.  I was thinking of Egg Drop Soup which I love, but it is also a great way to get protein in (that's difficult for me), and my kids love it no other way.  I also add egg to Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup, and it is delicious.

  12. I always put like monterey jack cheese and terryaki sauce on it it gives it a great flavor.
