Anyone know good fishing spots in Mammoth, California?

It's been a few years, but I always did well in Lower Twin near the bridge separating it from Middle Twin. I also had some success in Lake Mamie along the east shore, though as I recall the water there is shallow and I lost a number of lures snagging submerged logs.

Way back in 1973 my summer camp group camped at Horseshoe Lake, and I loaded up (limits for 3 or 4 days) fishing bait from shore, but the one time I went back there I didn't manage a bite.

For me, fishing any lake is Not good fishing.  I prefer streams.   I also suspect that fishing in h**l is better than anyplace in California.  I'm in the crowd that will cheer when that state is swallowed by the Pacific ocean.  Sorry not to be more help.  NO, I won't invite you to fish with me in Idaho!  Please don't export any more Californicators here!
