Anyone know how I can "Unprotect" or "unlock" a Protected file?

I am trying to get music onto my phone. I have a Samsung Alias. I bought an SD Card and Micro SD card to fit into my phone. I tried to put songs from iTunes onto my phone but I only got about half of them. I looked closer and saw little locks at the top left of the file. I then found out they are Protected files and am wondering if there is a way to get them Unprotected so I can put them onto my phone. If anyone knows how please let me know!
