Most of Australia's immigrants come from the UK.

In the 2006 Census it shows that there were 856,900 English born people in Australia, and another 130,200 born in Scotland.

In the 2001 Census, 1,036,245 were recorded as being UK born on the census night.

My guess is that it may reduce even further.
