Anyone know how to UNSTICK a PAN from CARPET!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

hot pan filled with hot oil stuck to carpet,im not really concerned about the carpet im just concerned about detacthing the pan from it,help?

You can use unwaxed dental floss to remove the pan from the carpet. Get a nice long piece of it and use it to "saw" through the carpet pulling it back and forth. it will take a little time, but it will not do excessive damage to the carpet and will cut the bond between the pan and the carpet.

That sucks.

Try using a serrated knife(a long one) slice and follow right under the bottom of the pan as if you were cutting bread.
