  1. In which country?  If the US, you need to go to the USCIS website, below, and go from there.  If she is in the country illegally, you need to talk to a lawyer asap.  She will probably have to leave the US for a while but a lawyer will advise.  If she is overseas, you will need to petition for here to come across on a spousal visa.

  2. My paperwork would start with a check written to a proven immigration lawyer and let them deal with it.

  3. Go to your local social security dept.

  4. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/m...

  5. You need to add more details to your question. Is she here on a visa or illegally? If the latter is the case, you are going to need an immigration lawyer. If her status is okay and she didn't overstay and/or has no deport warrants, you can go to www.uscis.gov site and find the correct form and the proper fees and how the whole process goes. Having the correct paper work depends on so much. Put a little more details and we can give you a better answer.

Email me if you want more info because I have been through immigration.

  6. Talk to a lawyer, it is important.

You can easily mess up, and you don't want to do that.

    Good luck!

  7. You need to contact the US immigration department.  Don't just phone or check the website.  You need to take a day off of work and go to the immigration office nearest you and stand in line.  It will take you all day.  Don't use an immigration lawyer.  They charge you an arm and a leg and all they do is file papers that you could easily file yourself!  Not unless a day off of work or two will cost you more than $600.00!  Trust me, I have been through all of this.  I'm a Canadian citizen married to an American and have been a registered alien for 12 years now.  My husband used an immigration lawyer and she filed 2 forms for us (that we had to fill out) and cost us a 3 month set-back when she lost one!  Then she wanted another $600.00, but we fired her instead and had less problems after that.  I wish we had the $600.00 back!
