it needs to be farly large, if you have any links you can send me that would be great. A couple of table tops some whoops is what i want but i dont know where to get plans. i have a couple decent hills but one is really steap. And it needs to be big enough for at least 2 riders nothin real big just somthin to where i dont have to drive anywhere to go ride. I can do a 14 foot gap so i can jump farly good. The biggest jump i would like to be about a 20 foot table top and the rest about 12 to 15 foot tables

  1. I have a jump in my yard, but not one that big.  I made it by cutting plywood into a triangle, nailing it to a frame, and filling it with dirt.  For something so large I would recomend just bringing in a dumptruck, and smoothing it out into a jump.  I have a little trail in my two-acre yard.  My favorite choice for a track is to mark it with flags, then after youve ridden it several times, all the grass dies there, and the dirt is packed, and youve got your very own genuine single track.  I love going up and downhill.  A jump on a hillside is always chalenging.

  2. Search on youtube and google for Mark Weir.   Maybe "Mark Weir peacock", too.....can't remember the crazy name of his personal pump track, but it has the word "peacock" in it.  lol.

A friend of mine built a small pump track in his back yard using info he got from Mark and various links from his site.  It's pretty nice, although limited.  Sounds like you have tons of space to use, that's awesome!   Hopefully you have some cheap dirt also, and a mechanized way to move it or pile it up!  Otherwise, it's a *phenomenal* amount of work.

You might also check out http://www.leelikesbikes.com .  He had some pump info up for awhile.....if you can't find it, he's really helpful if you post on his forum or email him.  Also, maybe get in contact with the guys at Ray's mountain bike park in Cleveland, Ohio.

Wish I lived close to you, I'd help!  Sounds like a fantastic project.
