Anyone know how to get a kitten used to liking the water?

I would put a little water on the cat. Don't put to much because then the cat will get afraid. Then put more and more water on it and then it will get used to the water.If that doesn't work Give it snacks and con it to go in to the water.

there really isn't anyway to get a cat used to water.  they are instinctively bred to not like water.  some tolerate it better than others but i am not sure if they ever "like" it. but...every cat is different.  good luck

do you mean giving a cat a bath?  cats hate water.  cats keep themselves clean enough that you don't need to give them a bath.

The only reason I can see for not liking the water is well it's bore water or the cat hasn't been weened is that what you mean ?

Don't force it near water, perhaps start with putting him in the tub with barely any water in it (don't be running the water with the cat in it, the noise scares them)....if it doesn't like it, don't force it.  Most cats don't like water, and will never really accept it.  All you can do, it a little at a time, and use a lot of praise.
