Here is the deal, Journey, Heart, and Cheap Trick are playing in Tahoe in a week. My husband and I want to go badly, but didn't have the $$$ for tickets till now. The concert is sold out. I don't want to pay 3 and 4 times face value (nor can I afford that) to buy from scalpers online. So I wanted to wait until they release the VIP tickets the casino is holding and try to buy that way, it will likely be discounted too. So does anyone know if I should be stalking ticketmaster or if I should arrive at the box office the day of the show and try that way? The VIP tickets are usually released 24/48 hours before the show, or so I hear. The box office only opens two hours before, so I would have to run down there and try for tickets, and if I get them rush home to get the sitter and my husband and get ready in under an hour. Ugg, but we want to go sooo bad. Anyone ever bought last minute tickets to a big show before? How do I do this?
