  1. If you are sponsored, then go for the op.

ALA KR Jnr, Doohan, Lawson and so many others.

If not, I really cant think of a long term solution to this [ your ] problem.

  2. Auburn is rite on the relaxing part. I use to get it bad enough to where I couldn't even grip anymore. If you can get yourself in the habit of gripping with your knees, then you will be amazed of how much less you have to grip with your hands. At some tracks you can't always do this though, so it is really important to stretch. You can also do a quick little excercise before each race that seems to help a little as well. You put your hands on your grips and continue to squeeze and release for a couple of minutes. Squeeze for about 5 seconds and release for another 5. This helps get your arms ready to take the beating. Make sure to do it before you line up though.

  3. Your getting arm pump from holding onto the handlebars too hard.  This can be caused by allowing yourself to be too tense while racing as obviously it can make you tense. There are lots of products that you can buy to get rid of arm pump.  One such product is called Pump Xwhich is a natural remedy and you take this to reduce the likely hood of arm pump  occurring.

You also need to try and change your mindset when on the start line so you don't allow the stress to take over, as when this happens you end up grabbing your bars like you are going to snap them off. There is also many different books out from top trainers that show exercises to help with arm pump and making sure you stretch before racing will also help.  MXF has a book called Arm Pump Solutions and whether or not they help you I don't know but it seems worth a try.

  4. it could be as simple as changing the angle your bars are mounted. too far forward  could lead you to be hanging on too tight. too far back might be cramping your cockpit. try some different positions. above all..... relax riding is supposed to be fun.
