Anyone know how to get rid of diarrhea fast?

My husband has had it all day and he took pepto like 4 times already and we have to go to a dinner tonight at 5:30 and he needs to be there. any hints or tricks to make him feel better???

Immodium. Take 2 now and 1 at about 5.

Tell him to drink plenty of water. Diarrhea is caused by a lack of fluid intake or dehydration. Any solid food like cheese would help.
