Anyone know how to make a giant Twinkie!?

you can cut these into slices to make smaller twinkies, or leave as a whole cake for a 'giant' twinkie

Ingredients:

1 cup milk

5 tablespoons flour

1 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup Crisco

1/2 cup cold butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 baked yellow cake

Directions:

1. Mix flour with milk and boil until thick.

2. (It will be very thick) Cool.

3. Beat until fluffy and add other ingredients one at a time beating well after each addition.

4. Put between layers of cooled cake.

5. Let stand one day to develop flavor.

Ingredients

10 vanilla filled Hostess Twinkies (1 box)

2 (3 1/2 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding

4 cups cold milk

1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained

2-3 sliced bananas (sliced round or lengthwise)

8-16 ounces Cool Whip

maraschino cherry, enough to place on top of cake

pecans, chopped,enought to place on top of cake

Directions

1 Split twinkies in half.

2 place in a 13 x 9 inch baking dish, filling side up.

3 mix 4 cups of cold milk and vanilla puddings, together.

4 spread pudding mixture over the twinkies.

5 layer the drained pineapple.

6 layer sliced bananas over pineapple.

7 cover with cool whip.

8 sprinkle with nuts and place cherries on top.

9 note: i used 1 package of vanilla and 1 package of banana cream.

10 you can use fresh strawberries, also, or whatever you want.

make a pound cake in a loaf pan. slice it open and hollow it out. put the vanilla custard in the hollow then put the top back on it. sprinkle with powdered sugar.
