Anyone know how to make hazel sauce?

I need a recipe for hazel sauce. Back in KC, we went to a cajun rest. that served this sauce with shrimp. It tasted like catsup mixed with something else. Does anyone know how to make it? Thank you!

Being from the Gulf Coast, I've never heard of the term hazel sauce before but when you said it's a ketchup-based sauce served with shrimp I thought maybe this would be what you're looking for:  we mix together equal (or thereabouts) amounts of ketchup and mayonnaise and add garlic powder and black pepper to taste.  Some also add a bit of horseradish to the sauce as well (or cocktail sauce) and finely minced sweet onion.  I also add Worcestershire sauce to mine and either creole or plain mustard and a dash or two of Tabasco.  Mix everything together and serve chilled.  Hope this is what you're looking for.
